Chiswick Saturday Music Centre

Our school run is run by parents on Saturday mornings (dates) during school term at Chiswick Community School.  We teach a range of music to people of all ages, from child to adult, in a relaxed atmosphere.

New term dates

Summer term 2008 ended with the eagerly anticipated SUMMER CONCERT on 12^th July. Dates for the Autumn term and for next year’s Spring and Summer terms have been agreed - see When, Where and Fees for full details. We will be reviewing and revising the timetable for the new term. Concerts and performances

The summer concert on 12^th July was up to the usual high standard, with a stream of talented individual performances building to the high-tempo climax of the group rendition of We Will Rock You. The summer also saw some of the groups in action at the Strand on the Green school summer fair. See concert photos in the gallery.

Want to join in?

We offer instruction from friendly, expert teachers in a wide range of instruments. And all students can join our music groups at no extra cost. See Tuition and Music Groups for details of what you can do and for the timetable and currently available slots.

Help always appreciated

The music school is wholly self-financing and entirely run by parents. We always need volunteers to man the parent rota: the onerous duties include ringing the bell between lessons and making coffee for teachers at break time. Please step forward for this glamorous and much-appreciated task.

For anyone who can commit a little more time, if you felt able to join the committee we can certainly find a role for you.

The CSMC Committee
